SAINT MATTHEW’S CHURCHES PRAYER RUG

SAINT MATTHEW’S CHURCHES PRAYER RUG

Saint Matthew’s Churches was established in 1951 by fifteen dedicated Christian founders. One of the church’s founders, at age 18, gave his first sermon to a group of youth at a church in Fort Worth, Texas. Presently, we have several bishops and ministers that carry on the work of sending out the life-changing message of the Gospel. We send out free sermon letters, magazines, and books directly to people’s homes. For more than seventy years, we have had many churches that we have pastored and overseen.

In the past decade, we have feed thousands of people in need each year. We are called to serve communities by not only nourishing their spirits but their bodies as well. Also, at one time we had a free hospital ship, to provide treatment to the poor, sick, and dying, in a foreign land. Well-known actors and athletes have supported our ministry over the years.

For decades we conducted church services in major cities in the United States. It is important to note that Saint Matthew’s Churches does not lift up one pastor or any personality. We lift up Jesus Christ and make Him known to the world. Our clergy have visited prisons and have given Bibles to prisoners. Daily, we pray for the sons and daughters who are in trouble, and for the men and women who are in jails and prisons.

Two of Saint Matthew’s Churches bishops have been invited to the White House at Christmas time and have met several United States presidents. As well, some of our bishops have met or corresponded with close to 400 world leaders. Two of Saint Matthew’s bishops met with the Queen of England. We often pray for the leaders around the world, for this is our calling to be a light in this world. As always, our mission is to reach as many people as possible with the Good News of the Gospel, using any available methods.
